River Bowl Classic Teams Youth Sign Up
The 2022 River Bowl Classic, is the first of its kind. This inaugural event will feature competitive dragon boat racing and rowing events with alumni and student participants.

About the event
There are two ways to participate in this event.
Dragon Boating. This is a 21-passenger boat that includes 20 rowers and one drummer. The boat is very stable. In this event, crews will compete to capture a flag and return to the start line. The dragon boating races will be co-ed and include both current students and alumni participants from each identified school. This event is easy to learn. Crews will only need to practice 1 or 2 times total. Sign-up ends 07/1/22
Rowing. Smaller teams will skillfully, race toward the finish line in a long rowboat or shell. Rowers should know how to swim. Teams will select two practices times per week through the month of July from the following options: 5-6:30 pm Mon-Fri or 6:30-8:00 pm Mon or Wed. Sign-up ends 07/01/22
Note this is not a swimming event, nor is it anticipated that any participant or attendee will be directly in the water outside the boat.
